DXC Technology has announced a multi-year global alliance with Anthropic to integrate Claude into the systems that serve the world’s largest banks, airlines, insurers, manufacturers, and government agencies. DXC will train tens of thousands of Claude-certified forward-deployed engineers to embed the AI model into the operations it manages for these organizations. These systems, which DXC has operated for decades, handle critical business processes under strict security and compliance requirements. The partnership marks a significant step in bringing advanced AI capabilities to mission-critical environments. Source: anthropic

DXC has already tested Claude within its own operations, including using it to develop its new AI-native orchestration platform, DXC OASIS. The firm estimates that Claude accelerated software development by a factor of 10, with more than 95% of the code for OASIS generated by the AI model. OASIS now serves over 50 DXC customers and is set for global expansion. The platform’s agentic workflows are powered by Claude, which handles much of the routine work in customers’ IT systems. DXC also plans to use Claude to build an always-on security engineer subagent for its security operations centers. Source: anthropic

DXC will recruit engineers from its existing development teams and certify them through Anthropic Academy, with additional training tailored to the mission-critical systems its customers operate. The alliance will start in four key areas: insurance, modernization as a service, cybersecurity, and application services. DXC aims to leverage Claude to modernize core systems, refactor legacy code, and enhance application maintenance environments for its enterprise clients. Source: anthropic
