Google has released Gemini 3.7 Flash, its latest coding-focused model, following the launch of Gemini 3.6 Flash just three weeks prior. The new model is described as the company's most capable workhorse for coding and AI agents. According to Google, the model features 'awesome algorithmic improvements' that significantly enhance its performance in coding tasks.

The coding capabilities of Gemini 3.7 Flash show substantial progress compared to its predecessor. On the FrontierCode benchmark, it achieved a score of 43.6 percent, up from 34.4 percent. On DeepSWE, the model scored 65.3 percent, compared to 49.0 percent. Google claims these results place Gemini 3.7 Flash ahead of both Claude Sonnet 5 and GPT-5.6 Terra in benchmark tests. The model also demonstrates improvements in web development, document comprehension, and business process automation.

The pricing for Gemini 3.7 Flash is now aligned with Gemini 3.6 Flash, with launch pricing at $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens, a 50% reduction from the previous model's launch price. This pricing remains in effect through the end of the year. Source: thedecoder
