Google announced the Pixel 11 series at its Made by Google 2026 event, introducing the Pixel Watch 5 and a new tracking tag to compete with Apple’s AirTag. The event also highlighted new Gemini-powered features across its devices, emphasizing improvements in accessibility and voice input. Google spent significant time showcasing how Gemini enhances functionality, including real-time sign language translation and more intuitive voice commands. According to Google, these updates aim to make interactions with its devices more natural and efficient.
The Pixel 11 features a redesigned, thinner camera bar that is more than 40% thinner than the previous model, with an all-glass surface. The base storage has been increased to 256GB, doubling the previous starting capacity. The standard model starts at $899, a $100 increase from the Pixel 10, due to a RAM supply shortage and the removal of the 128GB option. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL models also received durability upgrades, with improved drop resistance and a new anti-scratch coating. The Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099, up from $999 for the Pixel 10 Pro.
Google also introduced the Pixel Tag, a device designed to track items like keys and wallets through its Find Hub network. The Pixel Tag is priced at $29 individually or $99 for a four-pack. The Pixel Watch 5 includes health updates, such as monthly summaries of blood pressure and insulin resistance trends. The 41mm model starts at $399, with a Stephen Curry edition available for $579.
