Lovable, a Swedish startup specializing in vibe-coding, is reportedly in discussions to raise $300 million at a valuation of $13.2 billion, which is exactly double the $6.6 billion valuation the company achieved last December. The company, which focuses on enabling users to build software by describing it, has seen rapid growth in recent months. According to the report, Menlo Ventures, a firm that recently announced its latest $3 billion fund, is expected to lead the round. Lovable’s user base includes founders, individual designers, and salespeople creating websites and e-commerce storefronts, as well as large enterprises such as Workday, Asana, and Nvidia. Vibe coding, which allows users to build software simply by describing it, is by far the most popular and lucrative use case for AI. Other high-profile vibe-coding startups include Replit, valued at $9 billion in March, and Factory, a startup that helps enterprises develop AI agents, which raised $150 million at a $1.5 billion valuation in April. Meanwhile, Cursor, which offers vibe coding for developers, was acquired by SpaceX for $60 billion last month.

Lovable’s annualized revenue run rate reached $500 million in June, reflecting the company’s strong growth trajectory. The startup, which is less than three years old, has attracted significant interest from investors and major enterprises. The company’s approach to AI-driven development has positioned it as a leader in the vibe-coding space, with a growing number of users and clients. The potential $13.2 billion valuation would mark a significant milestone for the company, highlighting its rapid ascent in the tech industry. The talks for the funding round are expected to solidify Lovable’s position as a key player in the AI development landscape.
