Pool, a new app launched in June 2026, aims to solve the problem of digital clutter by transforming personal screenshots into a searchable memory bank. The app allows users to access their photos and categorize them into pools based on products, places, or other saved content. These pools are tailored to the user’s personal data, making the experience more relevant and intuitive.

Once imported, Pool uses AI to track the original links associated with each screenshot. For example, if a user saves a product image, the app can link to the retailer’s website. Similarly, a recipe screenshot can pull up the ingredients and instructions from the original source. The app’s ability to connect screenshots with their original content is a key feature that sets it apart from other bookmarking tools.

The app was first developed three years ago by Spinoff Studio, the founders’ product and design studio, but was shelved when the founders pivoted to B2B SaaS. The founders, Maxime Junique and Piet Terheyden, returned to the idea after AI technology matured, making the concept of organizing personal data more feasible. They believe the app taps into an untapped data set for AI, as most existing tools focus on productivity-oriented data like emails and chat logs.
