xAI announced today that users with SuperGrok or X Premium+ subscriptions can now use Grok models inside Kilo Code, an open-source agentic coding platform. Kilo Code supports VS Code, JetBrains IDEs, and the terminal, offering specialized modes for planning, coding, debugging, and orchestration. It also includes powerful tool use, browser automation, MCP extensibility, and support for 500+ models. The integration allows users to connect their xAI accounts to access the latest Grok models, including Grok Build for agentic coding, without needing a separate API key. Setup for Kilo Code includes IDE extensions, a CLI, and a web surface. Users can connect their xAI accounts through the VS Code Marketplace by installing Kilo Code, navigating to the Providers tab, and selecting the xAI Grok OAuth option. For headless or remote environments, users can choose the xAI Grok OAuth (Headless / Remote / VPS) option instead. The CLI setup involves running a command to install the tool and using the /connect command to add xAI. For more details, users are directed to the Kilo Code xAI provider documentation. More open-source agents and integrations are expected in the future. *Source: [xai](https://x.ai/news/grok-kilocode)*
