xAI announced today that users with SuperGrok or X Premium subscriptions can now use Grok models within OpenClaw, an open-source, local-first agent and personal assistant. OpenClaw operates on various hardware platforms, including Mac Mini, laptops, servers, VPS, and even Raspberry Pi, and maintains persistent memory across sessions. The platform supports integration with multiple messaging services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Discord, Signal, iMessage, and others, allowing users to interact with their agent through existing chat channels. Users with existing Grok or X Premium subscriptions can now leverage Grok models inside OpenClaw, with the integration available across all subscription tiers. The setup process involves installing OpenClaw through a terminal command, followed by a guided onboarding process. For users on VPS or over SSH, a device-code method is available for sign-in. OpenClaw also offers the option to connect directly with messaging apps for immediate interaction. Further details and documentation are available in the OpenClaw getting started guide and xAI provider documentation. More open-source agents and integrations are expected in the near future. *Source: [xai](https://x.ai/news/grok-openclaw)*
