Google has introduced new features to its AI Mode, enabling users to track flight prices and book hotels directly through the conversational search experience. The update allows users to describe their travel plans and receive real-time pricing and options from more than 300 airlines and travel sites. According to the company, the feature aims to position AI Mode as a travel agent, helping users plan and book trips more efficiently.

Users can now ask AI Mode to track flight prices, book hotels, and see costs in points or miles. The tool will display the best available options with the latest prices and allow users to build their itinerary directly within the AI Mode interface. If they choose to wait for price drops, they can request tracking and receive email updates when prices change. The feature is now available in over 180 countries for flight price tracking.

Google also announced that hotel booking through AI Mode is rolling out in the U.S. in English, with partnerships from major travel platforms such as Booking.com, Expedia, and Marriott International. Users can describe their hotel preferences and receive options alongside reviews and key factors. Once a hotel is selected, the booking process can be completed through Google Pay, with the hotel or platform handling customer service. The update is now available globally.
