Qlik released Qlik Answers in February 2026, enabling enterprise users to ask questions and receive trusted, sourced answers from multiple data sources. It is the company's first major update to its AI capabilities since its initial release in 2024.
Qlik reported that since its general availability in February 2026, Qlik Answers has moved from an early capability to daily use. Qlik’s Discovery Agent, an AI-driven anomaly and outlier detection agent, alone has surfaced more than 100,000 discoveries for customers since launch.
Qlik Answers is built on Amazon Bedrock and targets enterprise users seeking to improve data accessibility and answer accuracy. Availability begins with a global deployment across multiple regions, initially for Qlik’s 40,000 customers worldwide.
"Enterprise questions vary widely: some need a quick lookup, others require pulling from structured analytics, unstructured documents, glossary definitions, or automations," said Jörgen Lindström, Chief Technology Officer at Qlik. Qlik built the system around clear architectural boundaries rather than one large assistant to address these varied needs.
The announcement follows Qlik’s expansion into AI-driven analytics and data integration. Qlik said the tool supports its mission to make data accessible and actionable for all employees, not just analysts.
Qlik did not say how the tool will evolve in the future, and the company raised the question of how to balance feature expansion with maintaining a consistent user experience. The company said it will continue to roll out new capabilities with capability controls to ensure stability.
