Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a partnership with Anthropic to deploy its AI model, Claude, to regulated industries. TCS will provide Claude to 50,000 of its employees across 56 countries and develop Claude-powered products for clients in financial services, healthcare, and public sectors. The collaboration also includes TCS joining the Claude Partner Network, which helps bring Claude to enterprise clients. This partnership aims to meet the high standards of accuracy and auditability required in regulated industries, leveraging TCS’s experience in compliance and global reach. Source: anthropic

As 'customer zero,' TCS will integrate Claude into its internal operations, including engineering, finance, legal, marketing, and sales teams. The company is also establishing a dedicated practice to design and implement Claude-based systems for clients. TCS will create industry-specific offerings such as claims processing for insurers and lending advisory for banks, which will be implemented for clients in financial services, public services, life sciences, healthcare, aviation, telecom, and medical technology. The initiative is already in progress, with examples including Diligenta using Claude to improve customer experience for over 22 million policyholders and TCS’s banking teams using Claude Code to enhance productivity.
