Orca Security announced a new natural language query tool for cloud security using Amazon Bedrock. It is the company's first major update to its security analysis platform since its initial release.
Orca Security reported a 90% reduction in query costs, 93% decrease in input tokens, and 75% lower latency compared to its previous system.
The tool is built on Amazon Bedrock and targets security analysts who need to query cloud infrastructure without deep technical expertise. Availability begins immediately, initially for Orca Security's enterprise clients.
"Discovery AI converts natural language questions into valid Sonar queries," said Orca Security's lead engineer. The system allows users to search cloud infrastructure data with simple text inputs. The announcement follows Orca Security's partnership with AWS to enhance its security tools.
Orca Security did not say how the tool will evolve in the future, and raised the question of whether the system can handle more complex queries. The company said it will continue to refine the tool based on user feedback.
