Amazon and AWS announced a 'GenAI Creators' Fund' at the 'AI on the Lot' event in Culver Studios, providing financial support and access to an in-house AI production platform for filmmakers and creators. The initiative aims to reduce production times by leveraging AI tools integrated into industry software like Blender and Adobe. Three animated series are currently in production, though no release dates have been set for Prime Video. The platform, called 'Project Nara,' is built on AWS and is exclusive to Amazon MGM and selected creators. It connects AI models to tools such as Maya, Blender, and Unreal Engine, with a model-agnostic architecture that routes tasks to the most suitable AI model. Third-party and in-house models trained on Amazon MGM IP are combined, with a provenance tracking system to document content origins. Albert Cheng, Head of AI Studios at Amazon MGM, stated that current AI generators are designed for social media and are being adapted for industry use. Samira Bakhtiar, AWS General Manager for Media and Entertainment, highlighted Amazon's strategy to create an end-to-end AI content creation ecosystem. *Source: [thedecoder](https://the-decoder.com/amazon-builds-its-own-ai-production-platform-and-greenlights-three-ai-animated-series-for-prime-video/)*
