Superblocks, a startup focused on vibe coding, has entered a multi-year joint marketing agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This partnership allows Superblocks’ tool to be embedded within the private clouds of AWS customers, enabling enterprises to offer vibe coding to their business users without sending data externally. According to Superblocks co-founder and CEO Brad Menezes, the integration ensures that data never leaves the company’s private cloud, which is secured through AWS’s auditing, encryption, and network controls. The apps will use Amazon Aurora databases and integrate with Amazon Bedrock, an AI development platform, to operate under IT management and security.
AWS will assist in selling Superblocks to enterprises, aligning with its strategy of supporting partners with strong customer demand. Menezes noted that while AWS does not currently offer its own vibe-coding agent, it has Kiro, an AI coding agent for developers, and Quick, an AI assistant for business users. However, these tools are not equivalent to Superblocks’ offerings. The partnership marks a significant step for Superblocks, which has 50 employees and raised $60 million as of its Series A in May 2025.
The collaboration reflects a broader trend where cloud providers are pushing enterprises to use their platforms for AI infrastructure, rather than relying on third-party providers. This shift is driven by concerns over data security and model lock-in. Menezes highlighted that enterprises are increasingly adopting multi-model strategies, incorporating options from various providers, including open-source models. He predicted that executives relying on a single model provider may face consequences, signaling a growing industry shift toward diversified AI adoption.
