AWS Recognized as Leader in Forrester AI Infrastructure Wave

AWS has been recognized as a Leader in The Forrester Wave: AI Infrastructure Solutions, Q4 2025. The evaluation, which included 13 providers, highlighted AWS’s strong performance in the Strategy category, where it achieved the highest score possible. According to the report, this recognition reflects AWS’s focus on delivering flexible and cost-efficient AI infrastructure to help customers transition from experimentation to production-ready AI at scale. AWS said the recognition underscores its commitment to providing infrastructure that supports the full lifecycle of AI workloads—from training and fine-tuning to inference at scale. The report emphasized that successful AI infrastructure must include workload-specific architecture, engineering efficiency, and sustainability and flexibility. AWS said its approach centers on customer choice and cost efficiency, offering both proprietary AI chips and NVIDIA GPU instances to match the right compute to each workload without lock-in. The report noted that AWS’s vision is to provide cost-efficient options for inference workloads without hardware lock-in, with custom silicon delivering strong performance for mainstream tasks and NVIDIA supporting high-end needs. Forrester also observed that AWS is best for companies with high-volume or elastic inference workloads that prioritize cost efficiency but still need access to GPUs for peak performance scenarios. AWS said it partners closely with leading model developers to give customers direct access to a diverse set of foundation models. The report also mentioned that AWS’s roadmap signals continued investment in silicon development and closer integration with AWS services such as Amazon SageMaker.
