AWS released a new integration between Agentforce and Amazon Bedrock Data Automation on an unspecified date, saying it enables public sector agencies to extract structured insights from unstructured data like body camera footage and scanned documents.
It is the company's first major update to its public sector solutions since the launch of the External Storage of Files with Amazon S3 integration.
AWS reported that the integration allows for automated extraction of structured insights from unstructured data, measured on the efficiency of processing body camera footage and surveillance video. That compares with manual review processes that previously required significant time for classification and extraction.
The integration is built on Amazon Bedrock Data Automation and targets the use case of processing large volumes of unstructured evidence in public sector agencies. Availability begins with the release of the solution, initially for public sector agencies using Salesforce Agentforce.
"With this integration, Agentforce users can search for processed data stored on AWS, surface key insights from unstructured data, and perform more advanced actions, all without leaving the Salesforce console," said a representative from AWS. The integration reduces the need for manual intervention in evidence management.
The announcement follows the release of the Modernizing evidence management in Salesforce Public Sector Solutions with Amazon S3 post. AWS framed the integration as an extension of its efforts to improve public sector intelligence through cloud technologies.
AWS did not say how the integration will scale to handle even larger datasets, and raised the open question of how agencies will manage the increased volume of structured data generated by the system. The company said the solution is intentionally modular and extensible for different use cases.
