Datacor released an updated TrackAbout solution with Amazon Quick Sight integration, allowing business users to explore rental performance data through natural language queries. It is the company's first major software update since expanding its TrackAbout platform to support cross-cloud data pipelines.
Datacor reported 27.5 million assets managed by TrackAbout customers and over 725,000 bills processed monthly, with the new integration enabling self-service analytics. That compares with prior manual processes that required IT intervention and delayed report generation.
The TrackAbout solution is built on a cross-cloud data pipeline and targets rental billing analytics for industrial gas and welding distributors. Availability begins with full deployment for all TrackAbout customers, initially for those using the TrackAbout platform.
"The interesting part wasn’t the AI—it was the unglamorous work underneath it: cross-cloud ingestion, row-count validation, a tenant-isolation model we could actually audit," said Sundar Kuppuswamy, Chief AI Officer at Datacor. The solution focuses on making data accessible while ensuring security and scalability.
The announcement follows Datacor's expansion into multi-tenant SaaS analytics, with the company emphasizing the importance of data accessibility for business decisions. Datacor did not say how the solution will scale further, and noted the open question of balancing speed with accuracy in revenue forecasting.
