Ideogram released Ideogram 4.5 on October 1, 2026, saying it edits part of an image without altering the rest. It is the company's first image-editing update since its previous model.

Ideogram reported four quality tiers priced from 0.8 to 22 cents per image, measured at native 2K resolution. That compares with earlier pricing structures for its prior model.

Ideogram 4.5 is built on the company's internal platform and targets product photography, interior design, photo restoration, and in-image text editing. Availability begins now, initially for users on the Ideogram platform and through the API.

"Target use cases include product photography, interior design, photo restoration, and in-image text editing," said Matthias Bastian, the article's author. Early testers confirm strong consistency across edits.

The announcement follows Ideogram's expansion into creative tools and partnerships with companies like Picsart, Runway, Pika, and Leonardo AI. The company framed the release as a step toward more precise and controlled image manipulation.

Ideogram did not say how the model performs on complex multi-edit scenarios, and it raised the question of how well it handles repeated modifications. The model is available now on the Ideogram platform and through the API.
