Meta released Meta Enterprise Platform on September 28, 2026, saying it will expand its AI offerings to businesses and corporate customers. It is the company's first major enterprise initiative since launching Muse, its personal AI assistant, earlier this month.
Meta reported no specific benchmark scores or parameter counts for the platform, but emphasized its focus on integrating its full AI stack, including Muse, Meta Business Agent, Muse API, Muse Code, and more.
Meta Enterprise Platform is built on the company's advanced AI models and targets businesses seeking to automate operations, improve customer service, and scale efficiently. Availability begins with a phased rollout, initially for enterprise clients and developers.
"Over the coming years, AI will fundamentally redefine how organizations of all sizes innovate, grow, serve customers, and run business operations," said Chirantan "CJ" Desai, CEO of MongoDB, now leading the initiative. Desai added that Meta's AI stack will be turned into products and services that companies can deploy for their own businesses.
The announcement follows MongoDB's CEO departure, which caused its shares to drop by more than 17% on the news. The database maker appointed Dev Ittycheria as interim chief executive while searching for Desai's permanent replacement.
Meta did not specify the exact timeline for full platform rollout, and the company raised the question of how businesses will integrate its AI tools into existing workflows. The initiative aims to help Meta achieve a return on its AI investments.
