NarrateAI, developed by AWS, was released on Amazon Bedrock, offering a production-ready solution for ensuring LLM quality. It is the company's first major update to its LLM quality assurance framework since its initial release.
NarrateAI achieved 99 percent numerical accuracy in real-time responses, measured on complex business queries involving regional performance analysis. That compares with previous benchmarks of approximately 90 percent accuracy for similar use cases.
NarrateAI is built on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, a platform for building and optimizing agents at scale, and targets enterprise users needing real-time data insights for business reviews. Availability begins with a general release, initially for over 4,000 AWS executive leaders.
"This post details five techniques that work together to deliver it: adaptive pipeline orchestration, cross-account multi-model failover, real-time streaming evaluation, composite evaluation framework, and data accuracy verification," said AWS. These techniques address distinct failure modes while operating as a coordinated system.
The announcement follows the launch of the NarrateAI series, which covers business challenges, architecture, and deployment. AWS said the focus of this post is on the engineering behind the advanced quality assurance mechanisms.
AWS did not specify the exact threshold for routing queries between fast and normal paths, and raised the open question of how the system handles conflicting results in real-time scenarios. The company said the next steps involve further testing and refinement of the techniques.
