NVIDIA released new AI for Media tools at IBC 2026, saying they bring real-time intelligence to broadcast, sports, and production workflows. It is the company's first major update to its AI for Media platform since the launch of the NVIDIA Synthetic Video Detector.

NVIDIA reported 99.3% accuracy for text-to-video content and 97.7% for image-to-video content, measured on synthetic video detection benchmarks. That compares with earlier accuracy figures for the same tools.

The tools are built on NVIDIA GPU-accelerated infrastructure and target media and entertainment workflows. Availability begins at IBC 2026, initially for media companies, broadcasters, and streaming services.

"The NVIDIA Synthetic Video Detector helps organizations assess the probability of whether footage is authentic or AI-generated," said Dalet's representative. The tool allows editorial teams to submit footage through SVD, inspect and review the resulting scores and metadata within a Dalet interface.

The announcement follows the IBC 2026 conference, where NVIDIA highlighted its expanded AI for Media offerings. NVIDIA said the tools help media companies enhance existing content libraries for streaming, transcoding, gaming and creator workflows.

NVIDIA did not say how the tools will be priced, and raised the question of how to balance authenticity detection with user privacy. The company said it is working with partners to integrate these tools into existing workflows.
