The tool allows users to describe the desired application in plain English, and within seconds, a fully provisioned application is created, protected by single sign-on and running on AWS. No coding, DevOps knowledge, or Git is required. The application inherits the same platform, and each one can opt into governed AI capabilities backed by Amazon Bedrock. This occurs without the user ever interacting with a model endpoint or API key. The system is designed to empower users to ship tools without involving engineering teams. The tool is part of PDI Technologies’ effort to streamline internal tool development for its global customer base.
PDI Brew is built around an agentic provisioning pattern, where two agents handle different parts of the deployment process. A planning agent captures user intent using an AI assistant like Claude or ChatGPT, or an Amazon Bedrock model invocation within an AWS trust boundary. The planning agent generates a structured deploy manifest, a JSON description of the user’s intent. A provisioning agent running on AWS Lambda then decomposes the manifest, classifying the workload, selecting tools, and orchestrating the creation of every downstream AWS resource in one request. This approach ensures that every app inherits enterprise SSO, scoped IAM, HTTPS, and centralized observability. The system is designed to be secure, governed, and scalable, with no insecure path.
