Anthropic and PwC announced an expanded strategic partnership to deepen the use of Claude in enterprise functions, focusing on technology development, deal execution, and organizational transformation across industries. The collaboration aims to address inefficiencies in enterprise systems, which are estimated to cost over $2 trillion due to outdated processes. Key elements of the partnership include the rollout of Claude Code and Cowork starting with U.S. teams, the establishment of a joint Center of Excellence, and a program to train and certify 30,000 PwC professionals on Claude.
The collaboration will focus on three areas: agentic technology build, AI-native deal-making, and enterprise function reinvention. PwC is launching a new finance business group built on Claude as its first standalone unit. "PwC has been leading AI's expansion into sectors where accuracy and reliability are critical, and the results are clear," said Dario Amodei, Co-founder and CEO of Anthropic.
"Insurance underwriting that took 10 weeks now takes 10 days. Security work that took hours now takes minutes." Paul Griggs, US Senior Partner and CEO of PwC, added, "Our collaboration brings together advanced AI capabilities and PwC's industry experience to help organizations move from exploration to enterprise-wide impact with greater confidence."
