SpaceXAI released Grok Bot on August 14, 2026, saying it helps scale customer support operations without adding headcount. It is the company's first major update to its customer support system since Cursor became part of SpaceXAI.

SpaceXAI reported a 175% increase in support tickets, measured across its expanded product portfolio. That compares with the prior support volume before Grok Bot's integration.

Grok Bot is built on internal tools and targets customer support automation. Availability began with a gradual rollout, initially for the most routine tickets.

"We expected the product to grow quickly, bringing another wave of users and support demand," said SpaceXAI's spokesperson. The company decided to use Grok Bot itself to help meet that demand, putting it to work throughout the support operation.

The announcement follows the integration of Cursor into SpaceXAI. SpaceXAI said the integration allowed the company to expand its support operation without hiring new people.

SpaceXAI did not say how Grok Bot handles complex issues, and the company raised the question of whether the AI could fully replace human support. The company said it will continue to refine Grok Bot's capabilities as it scales.
