Tradeshift, an AI-powered accounts payable and e-Invoicing compliance platform, has transitioned from its legacy business intelligence (BI) system to Amazon Quick. The move has significantly improved operational efficiency and data accessibility, with query response times up to 30 times faster than the previous tool. The company now offers embedded analytics as a revenue-generating product, enhancing user experience and reducing manual reporting efforts.
The legacy BI tool, which Tradeshift used for several years, had limitations such as a maximum of 10,000 rows per query and a 25 MB ceiling on scheduled reports. These constraints hindered large-scale trend analysis and predictive modeling. The team sought a platform that could handle big data workloads, automate workflows, and provide AI-powered natural language querying. Amazon Quick met these needs with its agentic AI capabilities, including Flows for workflow automation and Research for generating analytical reports.
Tradeshift’s implementation of Amazon Quick followed a phased approach, starting with a proof of concept in early 2024 and launching the full Reporting and Analytics app in June 2025. By August 2025, Quick had replaced the internal BI tooling, achieving 98% adoption across the organization. The architecture includes three layers of analytics capability, with the first layer featuring 16 embedded Amazon Quick Sight BI dashboards that process up to 100 million transaction records and return results in under three seconds.
