These experts will collaborate with existing leaders such as Zanna Iscenko and Alex Imas to shape future research and policy insights.
"Expanding our scientific expertise and engagement is essential to navigate the complex transition brought by AI," said Scott Strand, Head of StratOps and Special Projects. The program will serve as a scientific bridge, directly informing future updates to the AI & Economy ATLAS platform.
The addition of these experts follows the launch of AI & Economy ATLAS v1.0, an interactive open-access site tracking AI adoption. The program will focus on identifying practices, policies, and training programs to ensure AI upskills workers and drives shared prosperity.
Google did not specify the exact timeline for future ATLAS updates, and the program will continue to explore the economic implications of AI’s rapid development. The team will also analyze enterprise productivity and labor restructuring through rigorous econometrics.
