TechCrunch announced savings of up to $200 on Disrupt 2026 tickets, with a final deadline of September 25 at 11:59 p.m. PT. The event will take place in San Francisco’s Moscone West on October 13-15, bringing together over 10,000 founders, investors, and operators.

The event features the Startup Battlefield, which showcases 200 early-stage startups selected by TechCrunch. Attendees can explore these companies, meet founders, and understand their business models and market approaches. This provides investors with new deal flow and emerging categories to watch.

The Startup Battlefield will feature 20 startups pitching live in front of leading investors and the TechCrunch community. One company will win the Disrupt Cup and receive $100,000 in equity-free funding. This stage allows emerging companies to explain their problem and approach, while investors ask critical questions.

"Startup Battlefield alumni include companies that went on to become familiar names across the technology industry, including Dropbox, Discord, Cloudflare, Fitbit, Mint, and Trello, with a collective total fundraising of $32 billion since this program started," said Jessica Barrera, Events Marketing Manager at TechCrunch. This highlights the potential of startups showcased at the event.

The announcement follows the TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 event planning process, which has been a key startup epicenter for at least 15 years. TechCrunch did not say which members of the 2026 class will follow the path of past alumni, and the open question is about the future success of these startups.
